Clear your browser cache

To empty your browser’s cache, follow the steps below:

To empty the cache in Internet Explorer 6.x – 7:

  1. Close all open browser windows.
  2. Enter the “Tools” menu on the top part of the browser and select “Internet Options.”
  3. Enter the “General” tab, located on the top part of the dialogue box.
  4. Enter “Delete Files” in “Temporary Internet Files”.
  5. Select “Delete All Content Without Connection” checking on the correct box.
  6. Click “Yes”. 

To empty your cache in Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10:

  1. Close all open browser windows.
  2. Enter the “Tools” menu, located on the top part of the browser and select “Internet Options.”
  3. Enter the “General” tab, located on the top part of the dialogue box.
  4. Click “Delete,” verifying that they are check-marked at least in “Temporary Internet Files,” “Cookies,” and “History.” In IE 10 you will also see “Download History,” “Form Data,” “Passwords” and “ActiveX Filtering and Tracking Protection data”; it is recommended to also uncheck these.
  5. Click “Delete.” 

To empty your cache on Mozilla Firefox 11 to 23.0.1:

  1. Close all open browser windows.
  2. Enter the “Tools” menu on the top part of the browser and select “Options.”
  3. Enter “Privacy.”
  4. Click “Clear Recent History.”
  5. Click “Clear Now”. 

To empty you cache in Mozilla and Netscape: 

  1. Close all open browser windows.
  2. Enter the “Edit” menu on the top part of the browser and select “Preferences.”
  3. Click the “+” sign that appears next to “Advanced.”
  4. Select “Cache” in “Advanced.”
  5. Click “Delete Cache.”
  6. Click “Ok.”

To empty your cache in Safari: 

  1. Close all open browser windows.
  2. Open the “Safari” menu in your browser’s toolbar.
  3. Select “Empty Cache.”
  4. Click “Empty” in the dialogue box. 

To empty your cache on Google Chrome:

  1. Close all open browser windows.
  2. Open the “Tools” menu.
  3. Select “Clear Browsing Data.”
  4. Select the period in “Clear Data from this Period” (we recommend selecting “everything”) and click “Clear Browser Data.”

To empty your cache on Opera:

  1. Close all open browser windows.
  2. Open the “Tools” menu.
  3. Select “Delete Private Data.”
  4. Click “Detailed Options.”
  5. Mark the “Erase entire cache” box.
  6. Click “Delete.”
